Manu Kumar Jain was the first employee of Xiaomi India. Indian businessman Manu Kumar Jain serves as the CEO of Xiaomi India, one of the top manufacturers of smartphones and electronics. He has also served as Voice president of Xiaomi Global.
He joined Xiaomi in 2014, and since then, he has been crucial to the success of the company in the Indian market.
Jain has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.
He is also well-known for being active on social media and for his charitable efforts in the fields of healthcare and education.
Manu Kumar Jain announced that he was leaving Xiaomi after nine years of working with the Chinese company on 30 Jan 23.
Before he quietly relocated to Dubai to serve as Global VP in July 2021, Mr. Jain was the face of Xiaomi India.
This was during a time when law enforcement agencies were putting increasing pressure on the company’s finances.
