Xiaomi extended warranty plan provides facility to extend the length of warranty by a further year. And it will protect yourself from spending thousands rupees in the event your product breaks down.
You can purchase extended warranty for your Xiaomi or Redmi product. Your Extended Warranty coverage will begin after your manufacturer one year warranty ends.
What is Xiaomi Redmi Extended warranty plan
In the event of the covered product breaking down functionally the Extended Warranty provider take care of the product as per the terms specified in the Extended Warranty Plan.
Xiaomi Redmi Extended Warranty Plan effectively transfers the financial risk of unserviceability of Xiaomi product from the buyer of the Extended Warranty Plan to its provider.
Mi warranty extend
You can only buy the Mi Extended Warranty plan during the product purchase.
Xiaomi extended warranty plans are only sold on the mi.com website.
The Mi extended warranty plan will be auto-activated and then a Welcome mail will be sent to you by Oneassist after the Xiaomi extended plan is activation successfully.
How to claim Mi extended plan
Mi original manufacturer warranty for (1 year) is covered by Xiaomi itself. And you can visit to Mi service center to repair your Xiaomi products if your product is under warranty.
In case of Mi extended warranty plan you can contact to OneAssist by calling at its tollfree number 1800-123-3330 as the extended warranty is covered with OneAssist only. When you call at toll free number the customer executive will guide you how to raise a claim.
You can also file a claim by logging in to oneassist.in.
Fill in the required details at oneassist site. And don’t forget to upload a copy of the purchase invoice of your product.
What is covered under extended warranty
- You need not to pay for the lobour & spare parts as labour and spare part costs are included in the plan for free.
- You can do multiple claims up to Sum Insured during tenure of membership.
- Mi extended warranty provides free transportation of your Laptop to Service Center and back, if required.
- Repairs done within Mi extended warranty are carried out by Xiaomi Authorized Service Centre only.
What is not covered under extended warranty
- If user has made unauthorized attempted to repair the product.
- You are not eligible for extended warranty plan if claim by user is not intimated within 7 days of the problem occurring.
- If the required documents (warranty card or invoice of product) are not provided.
- Any misuse of product are not covered under Mi extended warranty.
- Reason for product failure excluded in the coverage as mentioned in Terms & Conditions.
- Accidental and Liquid damage are not covered under the Mi Extended Warranty plan.

Price mentioned above is without GST so the final price is always higher than the price written. GST price can also differ state to state due to difference in SGST.
